Breakfast sausage

This is a nice recipe that works well with breakfast sandwiches.
 
ingredients: 1/2 lb ground pork

1/2 tsp dried sage
1/3 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/8 tsp marjoram
1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
1/16 tsp red pepper flakes (not too much)
1/2 pinch ground clove
 
instructions: 1) Mix together all of the dried ingredients into the pork until tacky. Let the mixture come together in the fridge for a few hours before cooking.

2) Saute in the onions with salt and a little sugar till brown in a pan that can be used to cook the sausage.

3) Remove onions and let cool for 10 minutes.

4) Mix onions into the pork mixture and form into 8 patties.

5) Fry in the same pan as the onions.
