| ingredients: | 2 lbs pork shoulder, cut into 2" thick strips (or country ribs) Marinade 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce 2 Tbsp oyster sauce 1 Tbsp shaoxing wine 2 Tbsp chinese light soy sauce 3 Tbsp sugar 1 Tbsp molasses 1 clove garlic, grated or minced 1/4 tsp five spice powder 3/4 tsp table salt Glaze 2 Tbsp honey |
| instructions: | 1) Salt pork with kosher salt and let it sit in the fridge for an hour. 2) In large bowl, combine the marinade ingredients and mix well. 3) Transfer 3 Tbsp of the marinade to a separate container to save for the glaze tomorrow. 4) Add pork and coat. Let pork sit overnight. 5) Remove pork from fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking. 6) Add honey to the saved marinade and microwave to warm up. 7) Line air fryer tray basket with parchment paper. Preheat air fryer to 400°. :) Transfer pork to air fryer. This may be done in batches depending on the amount of pork. Every three minutes, flip and add glaze to the pork. Pork is done at 145-150°. This should take 15-18 minutes. |
