| ingredients: | 3 lbs pitted cherries 1/2 cup water 2 Tbsp lemon juice 3/4 cup sugar 2 Tbsp corn starch |
| instructions: | 1) Bring ingredients to a boil, sprinkle in 1 tablespoons of cornstarch 2) Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring frequently. Sprinkle in 1 tablespoon of cornstarch 3) Cook for about 10 minutes. You'll know the filling is done when it is thick, the cherries have released their juices, and the "goo" goes from being an opaque pinkish color to a clear, deep red color. |
