Chorizo
description:
Homemade chorizo. Be sure to make it the day before so that it has time for the flavors to come together overnight. This recipe goes well with eggs and tortillas to make breakfast burritos.
 
ingredients: 1/2 lb ground pork
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 Tbsp dried chili powder
3/4 Tbsp paprika

3/4 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp dried mexican oregano
1/2 tsp table salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp black pepper

pinch ground cloves
pinch ground cinnamon
 
instructions: 1) Combine all of the dry spices in a small bowl and mix thoroughly.

2) Mix the vinegar and spices into the pork until well combined.

3) Store overnight in the fridge.
