| ingredients: | 3-4 lb corned beef brisket 7 cups water 2 small cabbage heads, quartered with the core 4 red potatoes, quartered 3 carrots, chopped in large chunks |
| instructions: | 1) Place corned beef in the largest pot and cover with one inch of water. 2) Bring water to boil and skim off fat. 3) Once most of the skum is gone, lower temperature and add spice packet. 4) Move to the small burner and cook till tender, around 2 hours. Flip meat halfway through. 5) Remove spices and boil cabbage, potatoes, and carrots. |
