| ingredients: | Quinoa 1 cup quinoa 1/4 tsp table salt 2 scoops chicken broth powder 2 cups hot water Lentils 1 Tbsp olive oil 1/2 medium onion, chopped 1/2 tsp coriander 1/2 tsp cumin 3 garlic cloves, minced 2 Tbsp tomato paste 3/4 cup lentils 2 scoops chicken broth powder 1/4 tsp table salt 2 cups hot water |
| instructions: | 1) Place quinoa, salt, chicken broth power in the small pot. Heat pot and toss mixture for 2-3 minutes. 2) Add water. 3) Simmer until most of the water is absorbed and the quinoa is sprouted. Add more water as needed. 4) Turn off heat, cover, and let it sit for 15 minutes. 5) Heat oil in soup pan. Cook onions till translucent. 6) Add corinander and cumin and mix for 30 seconds. 7) Add tomato paste and cook for a minute. 8) Add lentils and chicken broth powder and mix. 9) Add water and salt. 10) Simmer for 35 minutes or until water is evaporated. |
