| ingredients: | 4 cups rolled oats 1/2-1 cup almonds 1/2-1 cup pecans 1/2-1 cup AllBran cereal 1/2-1 cup sunflower seeds 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup maple syrup 1/2 Tablespoon cinnamon 1/2 Tablespoon vanilla 3/4 teaspoon salt Cranberries optional |
| instructions: | 1) Combine oats, nuts, cereal and sunflower seeds in a large mixing bowl. 2) Combine all wet ingredients, cinnamon and salt in a large measuring cup 3) Add wet ingredients to oats mixture. Toss to combine. 4) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake at 325°, toss around 20 minutes. Bake an additional 15 min and watch closely. Remove when golden brown. 5) Add cranberries, if desired, immediately after removing from oven. Toss immediately to loosen granola into small bits. If large chunks are desired then break up after it is cooled. |
