| ingredients: | 1/2 packet of rapid rise yeast 1/4 cup warm water (105 F) 3/4 Tbsp sugar 2 Tbsp milk 1 Tbsp whisked egg (half an egg) 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup bread flour 1 Tbsp olive oil |
| instructions: | 1) Bring water to boil. Melt sugar in a bowl with the water. 2) When the water hits 105, mix in the yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes. If the yeast doesn't bloom, throw it out cause the yeast is no good. 3) Whisk the milk and egg together. 4) Add flour, milk/egg, salt, oil. Combine and knead. 5) Form into a ball and cover with a wet paper towel. Let it sit for 1-1.5 hours. 6) Separate into 4 balls and let it sit for 15 minutes. 7) Roll out and cook on a hot pan, 45-60s per side. |
