| ingredients: | 1.5 packs Glutinous Rice Flour (Green) , sifted 2 cups of water starting plus extra to adjust 1.5 packs of brown stick sugar |
| instructions: | 1) Melt sugar in 2 cups of water 2) Take out 1/2 cup of sugar water, sift in 1/4 of the flour to make a slurry, add additional water to thin 3) Slowly pour slurry back into sugar water, stirring and cooking until flour floats 4) Slowly add slurry/sugar water combination to remaining flour 5) Keep stirring, adding additional water until it reaches consistency of condensed milk dripping off spoon 6) Fill pans no more than 2/3 full 7) Steam for 1-1.5 hours. Less time for thinner disposable pan, longer for thick aluminum pan 8) After cooking can add melted dark sugar water to the top for added color |
