Oatmeal (quick)
description:
This recipe is for the steel cut cooking oatmeal.
 
ingredients: 1 cup steel cut quick cook oats
3 cups water (room temperature)
1/2 tsp kosher salt
 
instructions: 1) Add everything to a pot.

2) Bring water to a simmer at medium-high heat, roughly 6-7 minutes.

3) Lower temperature to a low simmer.

4) Turn off heat once it hits the desired consistency.
