White cream pasta with mushrooms

Fantastic white sauce, but very unhealthy.
 
ingredients: dried pasta
2 tablespoons butter
1 garlic clove
1 box mushrooms, sliced
4 teaspoons white wine (any white wine)
1/2 cup heavy cream
fresh grated parmesan cheese
 
instructions: Cook pasta in large pot of boiling, salted water until firm to bite

Melt butter with oil at medium-high heat. Add garlic and mushrooms until cooked. Add wine and simmer until just evaporated. Stir in cream and simmer gently until thickened.

Add sauce to pasta, add parmesan cheese to pasta and serve.
