Chickpeas (cooked)

Made with dried chickpeas in the instant pot. The single bag of dried chickpeas will make two batches of hummus.
 
ingredients: 1 lb bag of dried chickpeas

Soaking liquid
3 quarts of water
1.5 Tbsp table salt

Cooking liquid
3 quarts of water
3/4 Tbsp vegetable oil
3/4 tsp table salt
 
instructions: 1) Dissolve 1.5 Tbsp table salt in 3 quarts of water. Soak chickpeas for 8-24 hours.

2) Drain and rinse chickpeas.

3) Dissolve all cooking liquid in the instant pot and add chickpeas.

4) Cook under high pressure for 3 minutes. Natural release for 10 minutes.

5) Drain.
