Hummus
description:
This can be made with either dried chickpeas or canned chickpeas. If using the dried chickpea recipe, be sure to half that 1 lb bag into two batches of this hummus.
 
ingredients: 4 cups of cooked chickpeas or 2 cans chickpeas (drained and rinsed)

2 medium roasted garlic cloves
1 tsp table salt
pinch of cayenne pepper
6 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup tahini
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup water
 
instructions: 1) Place a small piece of foil on a pan and place garlic cloves, with its skin on. Bake in the toaster oven at 350° for 10-15 minutes or until soft.

2) Blend everything together.

3) Season as needed.
