Thanksgiving dinner

ingredients: Roast chicken
Buttermilk mashed potatoes
Stuffing
Green bean casserole
Thyme-sherry gravy
Cranberry sauce
Apple crisp
(leftovers) Turkey pot
 
instructions: Wednesday evening
Prepare the brine for the chicken. Add the chicken to the cooled brine and leave overnight.

Thursday morning
10:00am: Remove the chicken from the brine, pat try, and place back in the fridge to dry out the skin.

10:15am: Cut the bread for the stuffing and bake in the oven. This process takes at least 30 minutes.

Thursday afternoon
1:30pm: Make topping for the crisp.

1:35pm: Take out 2 Tbsp butter for the chicken.

1:40pm: Make the toppings for the green bean casserole.

3:00pm: Turn on oven at 425° with the All Clad pan.

3:05pm: Clean / prep the chicken.

3:30pm: Place chicken in the oven.

3:35pm: Blanch green beans.

3:40pm: Clean and cut mushrooms.

4:00pm: Take out the milk for the buttermilk mashed potatoes.

4:15pm: Start the stuffing.

4:30pm: Start the beans.

5:00pm: Start the mashed potatoes.

5:15pm: Take the chicken out and let it rest. Add the stuffing to the oven. Set the timer for 35-40 minutes.

5:20pm: Wash and cut the apples.

5:30pm: Make the gravy.

5:45pm: Place the green bean casserole in the oven next to the stuffing.

5:50pm: Remove the stuff and green bean casserole. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

6:00pm: Cut the chicken.

6:05pm: Lower the oven to 350° and add the crisp to the oven.
