| ingredients: | 1 medium onion 5 cloves garlic 2 tsp table salt 1.5 tsp dried oregano 1.5 tsp finely chopped rosemary 1.5 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 lb ground beef 1 lb ground pork tzatziki sauce greek lemon rice naan Tomatoes Cucumbers |
| instructions: | 1) Preheat oven to 325°. 2) Roughly chop the onion and garlic. Blend in the food processor until smooth. 3) Add all the spices to the food processor to mix. 4) Add the meat to the big metal mixing bowl, add the onion/garlic mixture, and mix with hands. 5) Coat the square baking dish with onion and add the mixture to the bowl. 6) Cook in oven for 45-60 minutes and internal temperature reaches 165°. 7) Remove from oven and let it cool completely. 8) Cover with wrap and move to the fridge. Slice thin the following day. |
