Miso ramen
description:
Spicy miso ramen recipe. This recipe only makes 4 servings. Don't forget about the ramen eggs, chashu, and bean sprouts.
 
ingredients: Tare
1/4 lb ground pork
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp garlic, grated
1 Tbsp ginger, grated
6 Tbsp miso (a combination of red and yellow miso can be used)
1/2 tsp chili bean sauce/paste (la daubanjiang, toubanjan)

Soup
7 cups water
2 Tbsp chicken stock powder
2 Tbsp hon tsuyu
1/2 tsp table salt
1 Tbsp sugar

4 bunches of dried ramen noodles
 
instructions: 1) Put the tare ingredients in a cold pot. Turn on the heat and mix everything together. Cook until the pork is cooked through.

2) Heat the water and then mix in the chicken stock powder.

3) When the pork is done, add the soup ingredients to the pot and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes.

4) Prepare the ramen noodles. Serve with the soup when done.
